The community beds are no longer orphans! Volunteers who have adopted beds will weed
and harvest and generally oversee their respective beds. Watering will still be
covered by all garden volunteers. Contact the garden leader if you want to take
on the responsibility of adopting a bed. Assistance in purchasing plants/ seeds
will be provided as needed.
Even if you don't want the full responsibility of adopting a
bed, please communicate with the
appropriate person should you want to help out.
Helping out can include:
- Donating extra seedlings or seeds
- Donating your time for replanting or maintenance
- Volunteering to harvest something and take it to the food pantry.
- Helping out when gardeners are on vacation
