It looks like Wednesday will bring sunshine! We decided to let the beds settle between Saturday and Wednesday, therefore we will be planting most of our seeds. After seeds are planted we will have a better garden map to post as a reference for all who visit/volunteer.
The neighbor to the south of us, Byron, has very kindly donated his water supply for the summer!! No more hose across Illinois Street! Since apparently April and May are now monsoon season in Indiana, we will probably not need to do much watering in the near future.
Wednesday to-do list:
1. Top off beds with left over soil and compost
2. Plant seeds
3. Finish moving compost pile to new smaller bins
